Tropical gardens and water surround the 242 acre grounds featuring three distinctive galls pyramids: The Rainforest Pyramid, the Aquarium Pyramid and the Discovery Pyramid. The pyramids’ attractions include waterfalls, unique birds and fish, butterflies, tropical flowers, plants and trees form Asia, Africa, South America; a 1.5 million gallon aquarium with aquatic life (even penguins!) form all over the world, and a scientific exhibit offering educational opportunities for everyone. Additional water attractions include a 3D IMAX theatre, an IMAX Ridefilm Theatre, the Palm Beach freshwater lagoons and white sands water park, the Vietnam Veterans Memorial and a one hour narrated cruise on the Colonel Paddle wheeler. The Moody Gardens complex offers hotel accomodations and restaraunts.
